How is wheat cultivation done with zero tillage machine?

  • Plows are installed in zero tillage machines.

  • One part of the machine contains seeds and the other part contains manure.

  • The seeds and manure are put inside the ground at a certain distance and depth through the plough.

Advantages of Zero Tillage

  • The field does not have to be plowed 4-5 times before sowing wheat.

  • The time and cost of tillage is reduced.

  • Crops emerge early and the plants also produce more buds.

  • By this method of cultivation, the moisture in the soil is maintained.

  • At the time of first irrigation, 10 to 20 percent water is saved.

  • There is an increase in the production of the crop by 10 to 15 percent.
