Prepare nursery in August-September month for cold crop.
For summer crop, nursery should be prepared in December-January.

While preparing the nursery of tomato, first of all plowing the soil properly and make it friable.
Mix rotted manure or compost manure evenly in the soil.
Now prepare the beds for sowing the seeds.
Make the beds at a height of 10 to 15 cm from the ground surface.
150-200 grams of seed is required for tomato cultivation per acre of land.
Sow after treatment with Trichoderma at 5 gm per kg of seed.
Sow the seeds at a distance of about 5 cm.
Do not sow the seeds too deeply. This causes problems in germination.
Keep applying light irrigation as per requirement.
About 20 to 25 days after sowing, the plants are ready for transplanting in the main field.
To protect the plants from the outbreak of pests and diseases in the nursery, sprinkle 2 ml neem oil per liter of water.
Apart from this, you can also spray by adding 2 grams of Mancozeb per liter of water.
