Litchi: Ripening of litchi fruits starts in the month of May-June. At this time the problem of bursting of fruits starts increasing. To avoid fruit bursting, make proper arrangement of irrigation in litchi orchard. The fruits are ready for harvesting when the skins of the fruits become dark red or pink in color. Guava: Spray 10% urea at the time of flowering of guava trees. Trees should also be cut in the month of May. This will give new branches to the tree and increase the number of fruits in the cold season. Along with this, to meet the deficiency of zinc in trees, sprinkle 400 grams zinc sulphate and 200 grams slaked lime in 40 liters of water.
Banana: Irrigate the plants at an interval of 1 week. Cover the fruit with leaves to protect the fruit in the plant from strong sunlight. For planting new plants, prepare pits 50 cm deep and 50 cm wide in the field. Keep a distance of 1.5 meters between all the pits. Leave the pits open for a few days.
