• These pests make plants weak by sucking the juice of onion leaves.

• The leaves start turning upwards.

• As the outbreak progresses, plant growth is hindered and yields are also reduced.

preventive measures

• Treat seed per kg with 2 ml imidacloprid.

• Destroy affected plants to prevent the pest from spreading.

• To protect onion crop from thrips and other sucking pests, apply 5-6 blue sticky traps per acre of field.

• To get rid of this pest, mix 30 ml country hawk in 10 liters of water and spray it.

• Apart from this, sprinkle 1 ml Tata Mida per liter of water.

• This pest can be controlled by spraying 1 ml imidacloprid per liter of water.

• If necessary, re-spray these drugs at an interval of 8 to 10 days.
