Litchi: Management of irregular fruiting
India ranks second in the production of litchi in the world. There is a huge demand for litchi of our country in the international market. In such a situation, farmers can earn good income by producing good quality fruits. Special attention is required to obtain high quality fruits. This includes irrigation, weed control, control of pests and diseases, use of manures and fertilizers, etc. If you are doing litchi cultivation then follow the following things to get high quality fruits this year.
Stop irrigation work from about 3 months before the arrival of the scene. With irrigation, new leaves will start appearing in the plants and the scenes will be less.
Keep the inside of the garden clean to avoid various diseases and pests.
Spraying with 2 grams of zinc sulphate per liter of water 30 days before the trees appear, increases the number of flowers and flowers. Repeat spraying at 15 days interval.
Pesticides should not be used in plants during the time of flowering and flowering.
Mix 30 kg cow dung manure, 2 kg karanj cake cake for 2 to 3 years after transplanting new litchi plants. This quantity is given on a per plant basis.
Along with this, add 200 grams urea, 150 grams single super phosphate and 150 grams murate of potash to each plant.
If symptoms of zinc deficiency are observed, add 150-200 grams of zinc sulphate per tree.
