How are the goats housing?

• Goats need a clean and dry place to live.

• Small scale i.e. 2 to 5 goats do not require special housing for raising.

• On the other hand, if goats are to be reared on a large scale, then separate housing is required for goats.

What to include in the diet of goats?

• Each goat should be given dry food of 3 to 5 percent of its weight.

• Each adult goat should be given 1 to 3 kg green fodder, 500 g to 1 kg husk along with 150 g to 400 g grain.

• The feed given to goats should contain 60 to 65 percent pulverized grain, 10 to 15 percent bran, 15 to 20 percent cake, 2% mineral mixture and 1% salt.

• Do not use mustard cake for filling the cake in the grain of goats.

• The grain of goats should be given dry. Do not mix the grains with water.

• Along with this, arrange clean water for the goats to drink.

• A goat becomes capable of breeding at the age of about one and a half years.

• Usually a goat gives 2 to 3 babies at a time.

• Their number increases by giving children twice a year.

• Goats can be sold after 1 year of age.
