  • On the other hand, if you want to cultivate it in Rabi season, then cultivate it when the field is empty after harvesting Kharif crops.

  • Crops cultivated for green manure are buried in the soil at a green stage before the crops flower and bear fruit.

  • You can mix the crops into the soil with the help of an overturning plow or a harrow.

  • While plowing the field, keep in mind that the plowing should be done in the same direction in which the plants have been dropped.

  • After this, fill 4 - 5 cm of water in the field for 8 to 10 days. This does not take much time for the decomposition of the plants.
