• Punjab Hybrid: This variety is suitable for cultivation in Punjab, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Before this they are medium sized and round. • MH10: Plants of this variety are medium sized. Each moment weighs about 900 grams. Its pulp is thick and light white in color. The stems are round and oval. About 96 quintals of fruits can be obtained by cultivating per acre of land.

• Hisar Madhur: This is one of the early varieties. Its fruits are dark red in colour. The fruits have stripes. The pulp of the fruit is fragrant and orange in colour. Fruits can be harvested after 75 to 80 days.
