This year almost all the regions of the country have received good rainfall. According to experts' estimates, due to good rainfall, the production of Rabi crops is also likely to increase this year. The direct effect of this year's rainfall can be seen on the yield of crops. In the map given with this post, the areas where crops have grown very well, those areas are shown in dark green color. Talking about the states of northern India, here in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, the crops have been very good. Along with these states, some areas of Gujarat, some areas of Maharashtra and Karnataka also have good crop.

Crops have been good in some areas of West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. At the same time, crops have also been damaged in some areas of these states. Apart from these states, some areas of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka have also suffered crop loss due to excessive rainfall. Due to excessive rainfall in Kerala, Sikkim, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh, adverse effect has been seen on the yield of crops.

In the areas which are shown in red color in the map, the farmers are facing huge losses due to decrease in the yield of crops in the last 10 years. The main reason for the decrease in yield in these areas is excessive rainfall and floods.
