• Sesame seed is very small in size. Therefore, it is necessary to have friable soil for its cultivation. Seed germination is good in friable soil.

• For sesame cultivation, do deep ploughing once with a soil-reversing plow.

• After this, do light plowing 2-3 times. It is better to do light tillage with a native plow or cultivator.

• At the time of plowing add 200 kg of cow dung per acre of field. The use of cow dung manure in the field increases the yield.

• At the time of final tillage, apply 12 kg of nitrogen, 16 kg of phosphorus and 8 kg of potash per acre of field.

• Neem cake can also be sprayed in the field before sowing.

• Spray 12 kg of nitrogen per acre of land in hard crop 30-35 days after sowing.
