The infant of this insect enters the soft stems, flower petals and small fruits and eats it inside. The shoots hang wither and later dry up. Affected fruits often become crooked, due to which the quality of the fruit deteriorates. For the control of fruit borer, spray Cutter, 5 ml or Larvin, 20 g or Fem 5 ml dissolved in 15 liters of water. After 4-5 days of this spray, sprinkle spark gold or punch.
