Along with this, do not use raw dung in the field. To control this pest, mix 8 to 10 kg of Fipronil 0.3% GR per acre of land. Apart from this, 2.5 to 3 kg of Carbofuran 3G can also be used per acre of land.

• Termites: These insects live in the soil and damage the crop by cutting the roots of plants. Along with the roots, these pests also damage the stems of plants and the grains formed in the plants. To avoid this pest, before sowing, treat the seed with 12 ml Chlorpyriphos 20 EC per kg. In case of pest infestation in standing crop, apply 1.2 liters of chloropyriphos per acre of land.

• Leaf miner insect: It is also known as leaf tunnel insect. These insects eat the green part of the leaves from inside. Due to which tunnel-like white stripes start emerging on the leaves. To get rid of this pest, spray 1 ml imidachlorpid per liter of water.
