In this technique, vegetables are also grown in water along with fish farming.
How is aquaponics agriculture done?
In this process the fish are raised in a large tank or pond. The amount of ammonia in the water increases with the feces of fish. This water is poured into the vegetable tank. Due to which essential nutrients are supplied to the plants. After the nutrients have been taken up by the plants, the water is put back into the fish tank. This process continues. With this technique, along with saving water, essential nutrients are also supplied to the plants.
