Excessive irrigation can be harmful for wheat crop

We all are aware of how important irrigation is for crops. By irrigating at the right time and in the right quantity, we get better yields of high quality. Crops can be protected from frost by irrigation even when it is very cold. But do you know that excessive irrigation can also damage crops.   • The problem of water logging in the field arises due to irrigation in excess of the requirement. Due to which the risk of getting rot disease increases.
