लेखक - Dr. Pramod Murari | 29/11/2020

Weeds are mainly found in the wheat crop, such as Bathua, Hirankhuri, Motha grass, Vanbatri, Akari, Wild oats, Krishnanil, etc. Their excess reduces the yield of wheat by 35 to 40 percent. It is very important to control weeds in time. Get information about weed management in wheat crop from here.

  • Weeding is the best option for weed control. Weeding is done 2-3 times in the field at an interval of 20-25 days.

  • Before sowing, apply pendimethalin 400 g per acre of field to control weeds.

  • If Pendimethalin is not mixed before sowing, then within 3 days of sowing, sprinkle 400 gm of Pendimethalin per acre of field.

  • Spraying with 1 ml stamp per liter of water also controls weeds.

  • Spray sulfosulfuron in the field about 1 month after sowing.
