Thunderstorm likely with heavy rain

September 01, 2020: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely over some areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Heavy rain is very likely in some areas of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe. Light rain and thundershowers may occur at various places over Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Strong wind is possible over Southwest Arabian Sea. Wind speed can be up to 45-55 kmph. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

September 02, 2020 : Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam Rayalaseema, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Heavy rain is very likely at isolated places over Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe. Lightning accompanied with rain may occur at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Strong wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph is very likely over southwest Arabian Sea. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

September 03, 2020: Heavy rain is possible over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rayalaseema, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe. Thunderstorm accompanied with rain could be heard in some areas of Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
