Pant Urad 30: This variety is suitable for cultivation in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh and Assam. It can be cultivated in both Kharif and Zaid season. This variety is resistant to mild pubescence and yellow mosaic disease. It takes 75 to 80 days for the crop to mature and become ready. The yield ranges from 4 to 4.8 quintals per acre of field.
Pant Urad 31: This variety is cultivated in Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh. Plants of this variety are short in length and their grains are medium sized and brown in color. It takes 70 days for the crop to mature. This variety is resistant to yellow vein virus disease. Yields from 3.2 to 4 quintals per acre of land.
Answer: This variety is suitable for cultivation in the eastern plains and north-western plains. This variety is mainly cultivated in Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Assam. Plants of this variety are resistant to viral diseases. The yield per acre of field is 4 to 6 quintals.
Krishna: This variety can be cultivated in heavy soil. Plants of this variety are of medium height. Its grains are large and brown in color. It takes 90 to 110 days for the crop to mature and become ready. The yield per acre of field is 4 to 4.8 quintals.
