• To reduce its spread, completely drain out the frozen water in the field.

• After harvesting, collect its residues and burn them or rot them.

• To avoid this disease, spray 1 gram per liter of Hexaconazole 75 percent WP or 3 grams per liter Carbendazim 50 percent WP or Mancozeb 75 percent WP 1-2 times at an interval of 10 to 15 days.
