Radish: Avoiding Lahi

लेखक - Surendra Kumar Chaudhari | 10/11/2020

Radish can be cultivated in areas with cool temperatures as well as in areas with high temperatures. The crop is ready about 30 days after sowing. In about 2 months the field becomes empty and farmers can sow other crops. In radish crop, leaf-cutting caterpillar, mustard fly and lahi are the most prevalent. If you are cultivating radish and are worried due to lahi, then you can see the preventive measures from here.

identification of pests

  • These pests are small in size and attack plants in groups.

  • Their length is from 1 to 1.5 mm.

  • They damage the crop by sucking the sap of the plants.

preventive measures

  • Control weeds in the field.

  • To control this pest, apply 5-6 yellow sticky traps per acre of field.

  • To avoid this, sprinkle 50 ml country hawk in 150 liters of water.

  • Spray 15 liters of water by mixing 5 ml countryside cutter, 5 ml Kilmite and 10 grams country punch.

  • Also you can spray by adding 2 ml imidacloprid per liter of water.

By using these drugs, control of lahi in radish crop can be easily achieved. If you found this information important then please like this post. Also share it with other farmers. Ask us your questions related to this through comments.
