Radish: Avoiding Lahi

Radish can be cultivated in areas with cool temperatures as well as in areas with high temperatures. The crop is ready about 30 days after sowing. In about 2 months the field becomes empty and farmers can sow other crops. In radish crop, leaf-cutting caterpillar, mustard fly and lahi are the most prevalent.   • These pests are small in size and attack plants in groups.

  • Their length is from 1 to 1.5 mm.

  • They damage the crop by sucking the sap of the plants.

preventive measures

  • Control weeds in the field.

  • To control this pest, apply 5-6 yellow sticky traps per acre of field.

  • To avoid this, sprinkle 50 ml country hawk in 150 liters of water.

  • Spray 15 liters of water by mixing 5 ml countryside cutter, 5 ml Kilmite and 10 grams country punch.

  • Also you can spray by adding 2 ml imidacloprid per liter of water.
