• The female insect lays eggs inside the fruit.

• Affected fruits turn yellow.

Control Methods

• To attract the pest, apply 4 to 6 pheromone traps per acre of field.

• To prevent the spread of the pest, pluck and destroy the affected fruits.

• For complete control of the pest, spray 150 liters of water mixed with 50 ml countryside cutter.

• Apart from this, spraying by mixing 1 ml Malathion per liter of water can also control this pest easily.
