Where to do mushroom cultivation?

  • Apart from the plain areas, mushroom cultivation can also be done in hilly areas. Apart from this, it can also be cultivated by creating an artificial environment in the greenhouse.

Suitable environment for good mushroom production

  • 14 degree centigrade to 18 degree centigrade temperature is best for good mushroom yield.

  • It should also have 85 percent humidity.

Which fertilizer to use in mushroom?

  • The compost should have a moisture content of 60 to 65 percent.

  • The amount of nitrogen in the manure should be about 1.75 to 2.25 percent.

  • The pH level of manure should be between 7.2 to 7.8.

When to harvest mushrooms?

  • Small mushrooms appear 35 to 40 days after sowing or 15 to 20 days after soiling.

  • After 4-5 days small mushrooms become big in size.

  • Turn the mushroom and break it. Apart from this, you can also cut it with a sharp knife.
