Lucknow 49: This variety is also known as Sardar. Its plants are small and there are more branches in the plants. The branches are long. The fruits of this variety are large in size and have rough surface. The flesh of the fruit is tasty and white in colour. About 125 kg of fruits can be obtained from one plant per year.
Allahabad Safeda: Plants of this variety grow straight. The shape of the fruit is round. After ripening, the fruits are yellow from outside and white from inside. Each fruit weighs about 150 grams. One plant yields up to 80 kg of fruit per year.
Lalit Guava: The flesh of this variety is pink in color. Each fruit weighs from 250 to 300 grams. This variety has high storage capacity.
Shweta: This is one of the high yielding varieties. Plants are medium in length and fruits are round in shape. Fruit color varies from white to light yellow. After ripening, sometimes a slight redness begins to emerge on the fruits. Seeds are very few in the fruits of this variety.
Pant Prabhat: The leaves of this variety of plants are large and broad. The upper part of the fruit turns yellow after ripening. The anus is white in colour. From 100 to 120 kg of fruits can be obtained from one plant per year.
Thai Guava: This is an exotic variety of guava. This variety is cultivated on a large scale in our country. Plants start bearing fruit within 2 to 3 years of transplanting. The size of the fruits is large. The weight of each fruit ranges from 800 g to 1.5 kg.
Apple Colour: Plants of this variety are tall and fruits are round in shape. The outer surface of the fruits of this variety is light red pink like apple. The anus is light white in colour. 60 to 70 kg of fruits are obtained from one plant per year.
