About 12 kg of seed is required for cultivating small grain varieties per acre of land.

While preparing the field, do the first plowing with soil turning plow.
After this 2 to 3 times plowing with native plow or cultivator.
At the time of last tillage, add 6 to 8 tonnes of decomposed cow dung or composted manure per acre of field.
Apart from this, add 8 kg nitrogen, 16 kg phosphate and 8 kg sulfur per acre of field.
After plowing, make the soil of the field flat and fine-grained by putting a pad in the field.
After this, sow the seeds in the field at a distance of 10 cm.
Sow the seeds in rows. Keep a distance of 25 cm between the rows.
