By adding 150 to 200 quintals of farmyard manure or compost manure per acre, a good crop can be obtained.
After testing the soil, apply fertilizers according to the nutrients present in it.

Apart from this, mix 30 kg urea, 50 kg DAP and 35 kg MOP per acre of field at the last tillage of the field.
Apply the pata 2-3 times to make the soil flat, fine loose.
It is necessary to control weeds in the field. For this, weeding and hoeing must be done twice in the field at an interval of some time.
In the field with root nematode infestation, apply 250 gm Rootguard or Trichoderma Viridae 1.5% WP at 2 kg/acre at the time of field preparation.
Water logging in the field can cause wilting of plants and roots. To avoid this, make proper arrangement of drainage in the field.
