Identification of Ganoderma Mushrooms
Naturally, this type of mushroom is found in dense forests with high moisture.
It is dark red, brown and gray in colour.
They are shiny in appearance.
Fresh Ganoderma mushroom is pulpy. On drying there, it hardens.
Soil preparation, sowing and harvesting of mushrooms
For its cultivation, wheat straw and wood sawdust should be taken in the ratio of 1:3.
After this, put wheat straw and wood sawdust separately in water for 20 hours.
After this, remove the excess water and mix the husk and sawdust well.
This mixture is kept in a plastic bag.
Poke small holes in the plastic bag.
Keep sprinkling water as needed to retain moisture.
The bag is sealed tightly by putting mushroom seeds in all the bags.
A temperature of 30 to 35 °C is required for the germination of seeds.
Mushrooms are ready for harvesting about 5 weeks after sowing.
Mushrooms are twisted and broken.
Mushrooms can be dried and powdered for long-term storage.
